Living Learning English: Farewell to the summer season!

Reflecting on our busiest summer season of the last few years, it's been fantastic to welcome students back in great numbers from over 25 countries. We've been joined by some exciting guests, including an ex-minister from Mauritania!

We hosted students all over the UK, including courses in London, Scotland, Wales, the North of England and the South West. Learners experienced British pastimes such as baking and cooking, planting vegetable gardens and going to the cinema, walking in the countryside or on the beach, punting on the river Cam in Cambridge, shopping, blackberry picking, and meeting friends for dinner and socialising.

Your students have done a fantastic array of activities and excursions, including a trip to Portobello Beach for dog walking and a visit to Craigmillar castle in Scotland, the magnificent Petworth House National Trust site, a visit to The Devil's Punch Bowl, wedding bell ringing in Haslemere Parish Church, trips to exciting cities like Liverpool and Manchester, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Splashdown water parks, theatre shows and lovely restaurants. Some students went to watch the England women's football team, others caught the Titanic Experience in London, and other great museums such as the SS Great Britain and the Imperial War Museum,  and one of our lucky students went sailing with their teacher!

As the summer of 2022 ends, we're excited to let you know what we have planned for the rest of the year...
